At Rusted Wood, we are passionate about crafting beautiful and high-quality reclaimed furniture, flooring and cladding to suit your domestic or commercial needs. Our workshop is located in Yorkshire, where we design and manufacture unique items of furniture before shipping them out to customers across the UK and Ireland.
We never use cheap materials for our products – we are passionate about creating high-quality, long-lasting items. All our timber and steel is hand-selected by our expert team who have high standards and a keen eye for detail. We source top quality pine, oak and steel for each project.
Here at Rusted Wood, the emphasis is on uniqueness – no two projects are the same. Every customer has different needs, tastes, and ideas. We aim to create furniture that captures your personality, showcases your individuality and makes you feel happy every time you walk into the room.
Burning unwanted wood is bad for the environment, and wood sent to landfill doesn’t always decompose. Using reclaimed wood not only makes for better quality products, but allows us to recycle perfectly good materials, minimising wood waste and reducing the need to cut down more trees.
Rusted Wood started out as a team of two who had a keen interest in the style and creation of industrial furniture. We wanted to offer something different to the many companies who were using cheap scaffold boards for products such as tables and benches. We decided to focus on the quality of the materials and create unique and durable products using only the finest timber, sourced from all over the UK and Europe.
Our team of two quickly expanded into what is now a fantastic team of ten passionate and highly skilled woodworkers, steel fabricators and customer support. Still focused on quality, our furniture is created from solid pine and oak beams, sourced from around the UK and Europe. Generally between 100-200 years old with old mills, canal locks and manor houses just some of our regular sources. This timber is far superior tobtodays equivalent. It is strong, heavy-duty and resilient which allows us to create furniture that will last for generations.
